UNEP is preparing a report on Loss and Damage as part of its “Environment Under Review: Emerging Issues” Project. The report will focus in particular on loss and damage to ecosystem services, and will contribute to several action areas of the Warsaw Mechanism Work Plan. The report should also contribute more broadly to UNFCCC discussions.
Specific research input:
- Spatial analysis and identification of key indicators (and related data) for mapping Loss and Damage on a continental or regional scale, and selected case studies.
- Report including documentation of work and justification of method applied.
